The SWEET Lantern
At the heart of SWEET Lantern is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach, merging insights from social sciences, environmental sciences, and engineering. This holistic method goes beyond conventional research paradigms by not only combining different academic disciplines but also integrating stakeholders from society, companies, and communities into the research process.
SWEET Lantern is a consortium of 17 academic partners, including universities, federal institutes, and universities of applied sciences, alongside nearly 30 partners from the private and public sectors. This diverse collaboration reflects the program’s commitment to addressing energy consumption from multiple perspectives and expertise.
